Overview
Badimalika is a new trekking trail, the trail lies in Bajura district in province no 7 of Nepal. Temple of Badimalika (4,200 m) is the major attraction of the trail. There is a festival in the temple area during Janai Purnima (August). Thousands of people from Nepal and India visit the temple on this day. Bajura is rich in terms of culture and tradition. Local people perform different dances like Deuda, Hudkeuli, Bhuwo and Thadi.
The trail remains operational throughout the year. However, there is heavy snowfall in winter and this can affect the trekkers.Teahouses are available in lower areas, but it is recommended the trekkers to be self-sufficient on food and accommodation. Trekkers are also suggested to hire local guides as the trail lacks signposts and other infrastructures.
