Overview

Namche Bazaar Everest View Trek takes trekkers into Khumbu region. The trek is especially meant for those who have limited days to trek in Nepal. Everest View Trek provides the majestic views of the gigantic and trekkers can explore around Sherpa settlements and see the Sherpa culture.

Namche Bazaar is the gateway to higher peaks with mountains like Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, among others. The village is situated on crescent shaped mountain slopes. Mount Kongde Ri (6,187 m) west and Mount Thamserku (6,623 m) to the east of Namche overlook the village. The village is tourism hub of the country and it has a lot of lodges, restaurants, and hotels. Trekkers can experience local culture and old traditions of Sherpa people in the village. The village is the ancient trading hub for people from Tibet and Nepal. Trekkers can buy various, traditional arts and crafts, Tibetan artifacts and Trekking and climbing equipments in the local markets.

Namche Bazaar Everest View Trek starts from Lukla and trekkers move down to the Dudh Koshi River. Trekking further on, the trekkers will arrive at Phakding (2610m). On the way to Namche Bazaar, trekkers will traverse Dudh Koshi River and go by the forested area full of blue pine and rhododendron trees. As they reach Namche Bazaar, they will get the most vivid opportunities to see peaks including Mt Everest, Ama Dablam, Tawoche, Lhotse, Nuptse

Everest view Trek is an easier alternative to experience the wonder of Everest region. During the trek, trekkers will explore around Sherpa culture in Khumjung Village, Buddhist traditions, explore the rural lifestyle of Himalayas and they will walk to Sagarmatha National Park. The best season to go for Namche Bazaar Everest View Trek is between September to December and March to May.

Detail Itinerary

1 Day

Arrive in Kathmandu

Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m), reception in Kathmandu Airport and transportation to Hotel-O/N in Hotel with BB
2 Day

Fly to Lukla (2,800m),30 munities, trek to Phakding (2,640m) - 3 to 4 hours

After breakfast or pack breakfast and fly to Lukla (30 to 40 min) in the morning. Meeting with local Sherpas for porter. Then, the trek starts from Lukla. Then, the trekkers pass Chaurikharka village and make a descent towards Ghat (2,530m) on the bank of the Dudhkosi River. Trek some 3 to 4 hrs to Phakding, O/N in local lodge.

3 Day

Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,430m),5 to 6 hours

After the breakfast, the trekkers follow the bank of Dodh Koshi River to reach Tok Tok along with panoramic view of Thamserku peak. Pass Sagarmatha National Park, then they walk some distance up to Jorsale (2830m) to reach Namche Bazaar. O/N in a local lodge.

4 Day

Hiking up to Namche bazaar, 5hr (3440m)

Trekkers walk to Namche Bazaar from Phakding. They will traverse Dudh Koshi River. Then, they will go by the wooded area filled with blue pine and rhododendron trees. After that, they will traverse the Dudh Koshi River again at Benkar and here the stunning peak panorama of Kusum Kanguru (6369m), Thamserku (6623m), among others. Also, the trekkers will move transversely a suspension bridge to arrive at Namche Bazaar.

5 Day

Rest day, Namche Bazaar explore Hiking up to Everest view hotel

The trekkers rest in Namche Bazaar to get properly acclimatized with the setting at high altitude. According to health experts, acclimatization days during trek is must to avoid altitude sickness. Namche actually is a prosperous village located in a great out-of-the-way concave will give you a spectacular experience. The trekkers will hike up to Everest View Hotel from where, the remarkable scenes of the Khumbu peaks like Thamserku (6608m), Ama Dablam ( 6856m) and Mt Everest will captivate the trekkers. The trekkers will wander to Thami (3810m) over the glorious Bhote Khola River Valley. O/N in a Tea House.

6 Day

Trek to Lukla (2840m) 5hr

The trekkers will arrive at Lukla taking approximately 5 hours. At Lukla, the trekkers will rejoice the end of the trek. O/N in a tea house.

7 Day

Fly back to Kathmandu

After the breakfast, the trekkers will fly back to Kathmandu. Normally, the flight to Kathmandu is scheduled in the morning as Lukla normally sees wind in the afternoon. Upon return to Kathmandu, the trekkers can take rest in the hotel entire day.

8 Day

Departure

Visitors/trekkers can fly back to their country or can extend their Nepal trip by exploring worth-seeing places which are in abundance in Nepal.
